Meet Thomas & Amy Carlson

​

Tom began his career as an electrician for the IBEW Electrical Union in New York City at age 18. He was with the union for about 17 years, then started a family electrical business with his brother in New Jersey doing electric for small businesses and residential homes. During that time Costco became a regular customer as well. He and his wife, Amy, and two boys, Logan (15) and Landon (13), relocated to Georgia in 2014 to start a healthier, happier lifestyle and to start his own company here. Amy not only keeps the company books and works side by side with Tom, but also keeps him on track and presents the softer side of the company!

TLC Contracting has found that word of mouth has been a huge blessing, especially since a large percentage of their work has been from referrals ... much appreciated and always acknowledged.

TLC offers reasonable pricing for the level of clean, reliable work that is provided. Tom is beyond skilled in electric, carpentry, etc., and has the ability to walk in a house and envision perfect solutions that make their customers happy. On a more personal note, Tom & Amy live in Alpharetta, GA, with their sons and three dogs, Coco, Chloe & Tar-Tar. They are huge movie lovers and enjoy watching Netflix. Tom & Amy have learned to balance work and home life well and are proud of the direction the company has taken, and always welcome new customers with open arms.
